Hyssop - Silk Streamer

"Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean.  Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow." Ps 51:7 Web

70" long, hand dyed 8mm silk.  Comes ready to use with a fiberglass rod.
The inspiration for this streamer comes from a revelation given to a favored customer. 1/15/20 She wrote: "I was in prayer this morning (approx. 5am) and I had a strong sense the Lord revealed to me a set of flags 'Hyssop'! I'm so overwhelmed, I'm weeping!! (Scriptures: Ex, Lev, Num, 1Kgs, Psalms, Jn, Heb) I had a sense, through worship, in this new year, the Lord is cleansing His House with Hyssop, such as the priests would do.  Of course, WE now, are His Temple and He is cleansing us inside/out!"  We received this as a prophetic word for today and wanted to publish it for you to hear.

"You shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two door posts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning." Ex 12:22 Web  (also Lev 14:49; Num 19:6,18; 1Kg 4:33)

"Now a vessel full of vinegar was set there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop, and held it at his mouth." Jn 19:29 Web

"For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people." Heb 9:19 Web

Hyssop is portrayed in the Bible as a cleansing herb. It is still used today as a cleansing and healing herb for various illnesses, wounds, and bruises. It is considered a safe herb and is used in foods and as a mild tea. The Hebrew and Greek roots of the word hyssop mean "Holy Herb."  The foliage green and purple dyes used in this streamer represent the colors in the leaves and blossoms of the hyssop plant.
