Sodium Alginate

NOT YET AVAILABLE. Low viscosity, high solids sodium alginate thickener for use in all dyes. Primarily used on silk & wool when fine line definition is required.  Sodium Alginate is a gum extract of seaweed and is an organic product. It is food and skin safe. Added to dyes, it allows them to be used like paints.  It is also helpful in reactive dyes for stamping and printing on fabric. Quantity used is about 1/4 tsp per 6 oz of dye formula; adjust according to need.
